                                                               Goal pursued: High Technology, exclusively

- Design and construction of the"Heliotrope Sunracer", for a

first French participation in the World Solar Challenge Darwin-Adelaide 3000 Km, in October 1996:

     - 3rd place in the category "Lead-acid batteries" (27 competitors)

     - 21st place all-round (47 starters)

     - 3000 Km at 42.2 Km/h on the average (mediocre weather)
